His supporters probably enjoyed it, they do not put much faith in education, they want to destroy Education, and replace it with their new version of American History, one that keeps the white race out in front.
Whatever happened in the history of America, or the history of mankind does not concern them. They want a Christian version of life, and that does not mean caring about anyone of color, unless they can use them like they use Clarence Thomas on the Supreme Court. That is the Republican version of supporting someone of color, they can make him do what they want.
