I've thought about that. The first Cable provider that announces auto-credit would find their services to be more 'sticky', more customer retentive, such that it would make up for if not eliminate any decreased revenue.
In fact if they advertised 'auto-credit' they would steal enough business from those companies that didn't offer the same that they would be more in the black.
