Low Pressure Off The South Carolina Coast Will Intensify Rapidly East Of The Mid Atlantic Region Tonight And Early Wednesday... Then Move Northward Across Cape Cod By Late Wednesday Afternoon Or Wednesday Evening.

Winds Will Increase To Between 30 And 40 Mph Wednesday Morning With Gusts Between 50 And 55 Mph Possible. Southwest Winds Will Increase Quite Dramatically... With Brief Gusts To 60 Mph Quite Possible For A Few Hours Wednesday Evening... As The Low Begins To Move Northward And Away From Coastal Sections Of Southern New England. Winds Of This Magnitude Can Cause Serious Damage. If The Threat For Damaging Winds Becomes More Certain... A High Wind Warning May Need To Be Issued Tonight.

Strong West Winds Will Continue Thursday As The Low Deepens Across The Gulf Of Saint Lawrence With Gusts To 50 Mph Possible.
