Food prices are still rising .... but lots of prices are coming down. NatGas prices are down roughly 40% from their August peak. Shipping prices are way down, home prices are trending lower .... etc.
It will be interesting to see what the FED does in the coming months ..... for sure we get a 0.75% hike next week, but the December meeting might be only 0.5% according to the futures market. Time will tell.
