oooh, this chick could make you an old fashioned that would knock your socks off in more ways than one. Miranda is her name and she doesn't mind me posting her image. She's the best bartender this side of the equator and old fashioneds are her specialty. Some secret ingredient shit but they are really good. She's crazy but I like crazy. :-)
Ron White was really good. He's been on the bucket list, and apparently we caught the last tour. Who knew? Foxwoods is a good place to see a show. I don't do any gambling. I used to go out there to play cards, but the last time I went, it had been a while and I realized I couldn't see the other end of the table anymore. I just got a pair of glasses, (They say gettin' old ain't for sissies, but eyeglasses suck) so I might give it another shot.
Anyway, it was a good evening.
-------------------------------- Maker's Mark is a bourbon whiskey... Nothing's cheap at Foxwoods, but this is even less so. If you're out though, you may as well have a good sipping whiskey. Truth be told, I've never had an old fashioned. If I have whiskey it's usually just with ice.
