One more time indeed. Trump was worse than just a bystander. His downplaying of Covid, his words, and his open contempt for social distancing, masking and basic contagious disease science, not to mention his insane junk science riffs about Covid 'cures', all contributed to the worst new job creation record of any president.

You motion to only count Trump's new jobs up to Covid is overruled.

Looking at the data, yes, about 11.4 millions jobs were added to the U.S. economy between May and September — and the Trump administration’s comments about the economy showing significant job growth since the early weeks of the pandemic were true at face value.

However, that upward trend had little to do with the White House and everything to do with how businesses on a grand scale adapted to new rules on social distancing to curb the spread of the deadly virus. In March, for instance, California issued the first statewide “stay at home order” and New York City closed all non-essential businesses — both decisions that contributed to April’s historic job loss.

All of which Trump disparaged due to his self-interested short term thinking.

Then, over the weeks, employers developed plans for operating under public health officials’ recommendations to curb the spread of COVID-19 and, as a result, were able to bring back workers who had been furloughed or reopen after a temporary shut down. Those trends significantly impacted job growth in the U.S. — not Trump.

Additionally, a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan — which was developed by Congress, not the White House, via the March Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act — helped some small businesses bring back lost positions or keep workers who would otherwise have been laid off.

If that's the point you want to speak to, then speak to that. Instead you claimed, erroneously, that Zab had termed Biden "the greatest president ever", and he never said that.

I suppose I could counter that not only did that many jobs come roaring back, but labor participation has increased dramatically and the unemployment rate is as low as it's been in 50 years. Add to that the fact that job openings are at record or near record highs month after month, and the current situation in the labor market is better for workers than anything Trump ever saw.

All Trump ever did was take credit for Obama's work and suck Putin's cock.

Don't discuss my intelligence Karen, you worthless self satisfied cow. If yours came in higher than Rooster's I'd be shocked. If either of you broke 90 on the IQ scale, I'd demand a recount.
