Remember this is the new republican party, they want nothing that upsets them, talk about being woke, they are the very definition of "woke."
Education is supposed to present all of the many stories that make up education. It is hard enough trying to encompass all of the different views that can be presented. But they only want to make up stuff, this la-la land they live in, where truth has no standing.
Republicans want to be able to present alternative facts, and then argue that they are facts. It is like explaining anything in life in the 21st century. it is hard, but to confuse the issue with material that makes no sense to anyone but themselves.,
