I tend to agree with you there. I've seen plenty discrimination in my time, even as a union carpenter.

Now you're blasting CRT shit on us and it's obvious that the other folks are not ready for that.

Just for complete disclosure, I am a white male but my pronouns are they and them.

That will never change. No one is left behind on my watch, no one. The kids are coming up and they see this bullshit for what it is.

If these old fucks want a revolution, they're going to get it and it won't be as pretty as they thought for their racist asses.

Banks took money from black neighborhoods and invested in white neighborhoods. Government encouraged and forced segregation. Influence from religion came largely from the shadows, not always. Divine intervention was never involved, still many said it was. Millions still believe it is.

A 'Forgotten History' Of How The U.S. Government Segregated America
""The Shocking Truth 50 Years After The 1968 Fair Housing Act: The Black Homeownership Paradox""
[...]
Rothstein's new book, The Color of Law, examines the local, state and federal housing policies that mandated segregation. He notes that the Federal Housing Administration, which was established in 1934, furthered the segregation efforts by refusing to insure mortgages in and near African-American neighborhoods — a policy known as "redlining." At the same time, the FHA was subsidizing builders who were mass-producing entire subdivisions for whites — with the requirement that none of the homes be sold to African-Americans.

Vile Racist Jeff Sessions: It’s His Day To Shine!
[...]
Through the course of his confirmation hearings, black and white colleagues described Sessions’ constant, blatant racism: calling the NAACP “anti-American,” aggressively prosecuting fake “voter fraud” in black neighborhoods while ignoring actual fraud in white polling stations, calling a black U.S. attorney “boy,” and describing the Voting Rights Act of 1965 a “piece of intrusive legislation” — a quote he stood behind during his hearing.
P - Sessions has never forgotten his humiliation in the Senate. The Reagan Administration had been installing fringe-right racists and anti-Semites throughout the nation’s lower courts and U.S. Attorney offices, but Sessions was the first to meet an organized front of opposition. He still seethes, as you can see today at the Kagan hearings.
P - When he won the office of Alabama Attorney General, his jihad against African-Americans continued — when an epidemic of racist arson attacks on Alabama’s black churches hit the same year Sessions became AG, he steadfastly refused to investigate. He gets a steady “F” from the NAACP on his consistent anti-minority voting record. Sessions is aligned with southern Holocaust deniers, white nationalists and Klan defense lawyers.
P - GOP Senator Jeff Sessions is an unrepentant racist, and the Republicans have elevated him to their most powerful position on the Judiciary Committee

Various political and religious leaders have suggested that Hurricane Katrina was sent as a
divine retribution for the sins of New Orleans, or of the South, or for the United States as a whole.

P - One of the hundreds of churches and other places of worship in New Orleans devastated by what some consider divine wrath.
P - Steve Lefemine credited God: "In my belief, God judged New Orleans for the sin of shedding innocent blood through abortion.... Providence punishes national sins by national calamities.... Greater divine judgment is coming upon America unless we repent of the national sin of abortion." (article originally from the Washington Post, as carried on the Houston Chronicle site, also reposted on the ExChristian.net site)
P - New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is said to have asserted in a speech on January
16, 2006, addressing the effects of Hurricane Katrina, "Surely God is mad at America".
P - Ovadia Yosef, a prominent ultra-Orthodox Israeli rabbi, declared that Hurricane Katrina to be "God's punishment for President Bush's support of the August 2005 withdrawal of Jewish settlers from the Gaza strip". The Jerusalem Newswire, a Christian Zionist online news service, ran an editorial headlined "Katrina— The Fist of God?" stating:

Whatever their warts Democrats have evolved. The Republican Party basically makes token gestures only.
