The Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC) have arraigned Mmobuosi Odogwu Banye a.k.a. Dozy, and Collins Chionuma before a Lagos State High Court over alleged conspiracy, obtaining by false pretence and issuance of the dud cheque to the tune of N31, 055,000.

The case that was scheduled for hearing on Thursday, was stalled due to the absence of the second defendant.

The Chief Executive officer of Tingo Mobile, Banye and Chionuma, whose movement is now unknown were accused of obtaining Automated Gas Oil (Diesel) by false pretence from the complainants, Admuran Integrated Resources and Damus Global Oil & Gas Service Limited.

However, the cheques were dishonoured and returned unpaid when they were presented, as there were insufficient funds in the account.
