You are not very good at playing poker, I have no idea how elections ever turn out. DeSantis is supposed to be the Republicans answer to the trump problem.
Now it appears that DeSantis did nothing to address the homeowner insurance problem that has been facing the state for the past two years.
This Hurricane is just bringing the insurance problem to the forefront of his lack of concern to address the problem. Floridians are going to wake up in the next few days and file claims, only to discover that the insurance company either cannot pay their claim, have gone bankrupt because of so many claims due to this hurricane. DeSantis knew this could happen hoping that no hurricane would hit his state.
Hurricane Ian turned out to be a huge hurricane and has hurt many areas in Florida. The next few weeks will not be kind to DeSantis when they keep seeing their claims denied because DeSantis didn't deal with the problem.
My prediction is a lot of homeowners in the State of Florida will discover their insurance failed them because DeSantis fucked up and ignored this problem.
