I can't replicate that - it stays in the same spot for me using Firefox. A quick fix is to use the keyboard shortcuts and just click "n" to go to the next post. :)

If you can point me to a starting post where I can start clicking Next and see that happen, I'll identify the cause of the shift and see about getting it fixed. I haven't been able to replicate it.
