Looks like Biden's unhesitating 'yes' had the desired effect on China.

Pelley pressed further, "So, unlike Ukraine, to be clear, sir, U.S. forces, U.S. men and women, would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion?"

"Yes," Biden replied.

BEIJING (AP) — China toned down its rhetoric on Taiwan on Wednesday, saying it is inevitable that the self-governing island will come under its control but that it would promote efforts to achieve that peacefully.

The comments followed recent remarks by President Joe Biden that the U.S. would defend Taiwan if China were to invade and came a day after U.S. and Canadian warships sailed through the Taiwan Strait.

They don’t appear to signal a change in policy as much as a broader attempt to calm the waters on multiple fronts in the runup to a major meeting of the ruling Communist Party next month.

“I would like to reiterate that … we are willing to strive for the prospect of peaceful reunification with the greatest sincerity and utmost efforts,” Ma Xiaoguang, the government spokesperson on Taiwan, said when asked about growing concern that China might resort to force.

The first signs of the virus was spotted at the Wuhan Lab in December 2019. Fauci said it's nothing to worry about. Pelosi danced in the streets of Chinatown. President Trump install a travel restrictions on countries in that region. Although Trump was not physically in the Moderna and Pfizer labs he eliminated all of the usual red tape and gave them all the funding they needed to fasttrack the vaccine. Despite Fauci saying it will be years before we get one. After crying about not ever taking the Trump vaccine, after he was the president elect he was one of the first in line. Although he didn't remember it.

Read Peter Navarro's book for the real inside story of how the vaccine came about so quickly. He was actually there and Trump's right hand man. None of this heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend nonsense like at all of the hearings going on.
