Meme:STOP SAYING THINGS LIKE THAT TO NEURO!

I realize my little "lap dance" of victory would be more than you could bear.

Well, even if he could, I CAN'T!!!

Well...it...looks like

Another sleepless night

Oh, but Darling, that's alright

Just as long as you are

Holdin' me tight...

Re: Neuro-Meme-U.S. Poverty

Why Neuro, how polite of you to underscore the failings of the Reagan and Bush administrations.

Meme, Meme, Meme. When are you going to learn that it takes about ten years for most of the things an administration does to be reflected in the economy. Certain exceptions apply, of course, like Carter who was capable of taking an already ailing economy and nearly ruining the country in only four short years.

Right now, for example, we are suffering the recession caused by the 1993 Clinton tax increase. Fortunately we have Bush in office who has been taking corrective action and, if we're lucky, he'll veto huge tax-and-spend legislation from the Democrats.

But I digress.

The good news is that income for the median family has been rising since 1993.

Not at the same rate as the wealthy, I'm afraid dearie. Do you affirm or deny that the gap between the rich and the poor has widened? Do you affirm or deny that the percentage of those living below the poverty line is unchanged in the last twenty years? And finally, do you affirm or deny that you wear pasties?
