Zerohedge has zero credibility if only because they do not vet or check any source that pays them to post there. Zerohedge does select the data sent and tends to lean right in news sources they put up. They are a stock shill website, not a news site. Their 'news' isn't very dependable. I don't know about the other links in this post.

What do we do?

We are paid advertisers, also known as stock touts or stock promoters who disseminate favorable information (the “Information”) about publicly traded companies (the “Profiled Issuers”).

Is the Information complete, accurate, truthful or reliable?

The Information is a snapshot that provides only positive information about the Profiled Issuers. The Information consists of only positive content. We do not and will not publish any negative information about the Profiled Issuers; accordingly, investors should consider the Information to be one-sided and not balanced, complete, accurate, truthful or reliable.

What we do not do.

We do not publish negative information about the Profiled Issuers. We do not verify or confirm any portion of the Information. We do not conduct any due diligence or research any aspect of the Information including the completeness, accuracy, truthfulness or reliability of the Information. We do not review the Profiled Issuers’ financial condition, operations, business model, management or risks involved in the Profiled Issuer’s business or an investment in a Profiled Issuer’s securities.

Tango__32, Like we agreed yesterday nothing about dealing with Putin's war will be easy. And as i pmmed you yesterday late, when you made the post, you see again .. https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=169882177 .. that Zero Hedge is not seen as a credible site in any way shape or form.

Who knows whether or not Europe will be able to withstand the pain Putin is subjecting it too. I don't see too much speculation on that as particularly useful. All we can do is see the situation as best we can ..

Are sanctions on Russia over Ukraine biting? Yes, but…

We all know democracies are tougher to keep together than are autocracies as Putin's. At least until the latter folds.

Your reaction to the suggestions you took yesterday is appreciated. It paints you as at least a relatively open and reasonable person.

Tango__32, Here you go -- How the Russian Oil Price Cap Will Work
"Ukraine war: G7 agrees to impose price cap on Russian oil'
[...]
Of course, there will be some leakiness. Smaller, often privately held companies involved in financing, shipping, and commodities trading and located in Russia or other nonparticipating countries may continue to offer services for shipments of Russian oil, but at higher rates—further eating into the Kremlin’s profits. Neutral refineries, too, will continue to process Russian crude and sell refined products into the global marketplace. But what matters most is that every major multinational business will be unwilling to finance, purchase, trade, ship, and insure Russian oil. For example, 90 percent of maritime insurance .. https://www.fxleaders.com/news/2022/09/05/can-the-g7-price-cap-on-russian-oil-raise-prices/ .. is based in the European Union or Britain and will soon shut out Russia. With ports, shipping lanes, and oil tankers off-limits, Russian oil exports will face logistical hurdles and long delays; already, Russian oil that used to be shipped from Baltic and Black Sea ports to Europe has been rerouted to Asia, where it takes around 30 days longer to arrive .. https://yale.box.com/s/7f6agg5ezscj234kahx35lil04udqgeohttps://yale.box.com/s/7f6agg5ezscj234kahx35lil04udqgeo . All these hurdles ensure that Putin’s profit margin will be seriously eroded.

4. But what about inflation? Won’t sanctioning Russian exports send the prices of oil and gasoline skyrocketing?

Quite to the contrary

Some basis for my relative optimism. Also there some additional solid comment,
so good evidence, in support of your earlier ' Putin shift to Asia' comment.

And to echo blackhawks also again, forget Zero Hedge as a credible source for much of anything. By all means
read it if you must, but don't rely on it. They may fluke a decent one, but would be few and far apart. .

Russian Officials Propose Overthrowing Putin, Charging Him With Treason

Vladimir Putin Insists Russia Has Not Lost Anything From Waging Ukraine War

A group of Russian officials has appealed to the country's State Duma to remove President Vladimir Putin from power on the charge of high treason, a document shared by one of the Russian deputies who co-signed the proposal reveals.

In a tweet published on Wednesday by Nikita Yurefev, a municipal deputy for Smolninskoe in St. Petersburg, the official wrote that the Council of the Smolninskoye Municipal District "sent a proposal to the State Duma demanding to remove Putin from office based on the charges of high treason."

The treason charge appears to be directly related to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which in Russia is still referred to as a "special military operation" by the Kremlin and its propaganda machine.
