You cite Greece as an example, but you leave out all of Europe, even South America has had its problems, but it keeps going. You seem to think that there is an easy way to move an entire population forward.
If you want America to be the leader of the great issues then we should lead in areas like climate change, have you heard republicans these past 30 years, they keep saying there is no man-made climate change. Trump removed America from the Paris Climate change agreement. Another one of his asinine decisions. Trump truly wanted to make America a third world country.
