On an individual stock board, it seems like the post is no longer as important as the list of news below it.

It's great having news available - but can you give us an option to minimize or hide the News list if we wanted to? It consumes the page.

If you are reading a short sentence then all this repetitive news is below it, and below the next post and the next post you click on. Maybe people just want to read the message?

If you are reading a longer message the news list is not as in your face and you don't really focus on it.

Why not make the replay button go to a public reply automatically and make people use the drop down for private or whatever. I'm sure people will figure that out.

And as you're undoubtedly aware, we are a people of icons and images because of the internet. Most people under 65 now know that a star means favorite or followed. One color for favorite, one color for followed. The icon self explanatory.

Eliminating redundancy is an art without confusing people.
Like a road sign with a right curve arrow with the word 'curve' over it.
I'm sure people will figure out your symbols as well.

Since I'm one of the dinosaurs (over 65) who refuses to use a fancy phone, I prefer Follow/Unfollow spelled out (I read words better than little pictures). That being said, since my time on Earth is limited and the future belongs to the semi-literate young 'uns for whom spelling & grammar don't count, do what the future demands. I'll adjust.

BTW... Thanks for the heads up on what a blank star/colored (am I allowed to use that word?) star mean. I would have had no idea.

What if we eliminate Follow/Unfollow button from boards and just make it an empty (unfollowed) of colored (followed) star next to the board name?

I have an idea! Why don't you ask Paulie about that?
