Way back when, Nixon nominated Harrold Carswell to the Supreme Court. Famously not too bright or accomplished, Senator Hruska defended the pick by stating:
“Even if he were mediocre, there are a lot of mediocre judges and people and lawyers. They are entitled to a little representation, aren’t they, and a little chance? We can’t have all Brandeises, Frankfurters and Cardozos.”
And so it was with Trump, who truly proved that, indeed, anyone can grow up to be President, something we were all taught as children but came to believe not really possible as we got older. For, as Dear Leader demonstrated, if a not too bright, racist, lying, failed businessman who was also a traitorous serial sexual assaulter, can make it, anyone one of the rest of us can. And for that, we are dubiously in his debt.

Trump and his endorsements --and his blindly following supporters--will be responsible for the Senate not swinging to the Republicans. Weak candidates truly taxes the patience of the moderate, conservative voter.
Having said that, the Democrats have Hank Johnson as a reelected Congressman for years--the guy who asked Admirals if Guam was in danger of tipping over if they stationed any more Marines there.
Warnock will win against Herschel--not because Warnock is strong and his policies are supported by the majority of the voters. But, rather because Herschel is such a flawed candidate. (I did not vote for him in the primary).
Warnock is a wife abuser (ex-wife now) but Herschel Walker is just in another league of weak. But--he will caucus with the Republicans...so there is that.
McCormick should have been the nominee in PA over OZ. But, NO, MAGA voters voted for who Trump endorsed. Stupid.

The Democrats have AOC, Pressley and the rest of the Squad. So let's not get into who follow who blindly. In NY, whoever has a D beside their name wins--including deBlasio being reelected as mayor four years ago.
