Not strange to me. I've made a fortune off AXSM and Avanir (nudexta), another drug that as a minor part of their MOA is S1 activation. Oddly enough both ran significantly large trials in the elderly AD population and neither seemed to notice any cognitive benefit which a reason I never bought into the Anavex thesis. Same with the large Japanese trials that were run on AD with S1 activation which failed multiple times. I've never said 273 couldn't work for Rett or PD however. Jury still out on that. I have said based on results so far I have heavy doubts that it could beat SOC for AD. JMHO though.
