MXC -.59 to 19.21, nice earnings, EPS of $0.59, but the energy sector is very weak today due to plunging crude oil prices. And, as you've pointed out before, there are plenty of oil stocks that are MUCH cheaper than MXC in terms of PE.

MXC +.57 to 15.41, has underperformed the energy sector the past few weeks and should have another solid y/y comp when they post Q3 numbers in about 2 weeks, although it's a tougher comp than Q2 and oil prices averaged just $91 for Q3 versus $108 for Q2.

I'm on the sidelines but might get in for a trade if dips some more. Just 2 weeks ago it was around $18.
