Whales were buying deep ITM call contracts by the thousands. It was nothing to see a 2000 contract call option cross the board and there were lots of these totaling millions of shares that were used to dump on the open market the following week. Meanwhile market makers still have yet to locate these shares. This went on for weeks. The amount of naked shares that were on the market were insane.
