Sure. What barr does or thinks now is irrelevant. But what sticks in my craw is that to me it looks like garland is following the bullshit that barr laid down during the impeachment trials.
Garland wants to show an impartial front to politics, but to prescribe to a 2020 barr ruling that is clearly politically motivated seems not too impartial.
What bothers me is garlands very intent not to do political or seem political may be the very thing that saves shittypants. If garland is following the pre barr ruling of not indicting a politician within election dates or whatever then he has almost two years yet to put shittypants away. But back then, barr seemed to be trying to circumvent that in place ruling with his own where it didn't matter when it was, but everything had to go through HIM personally.
So, I'll leave it at that.
