Every really bad Republican President, and that's all of them, somehow make the previous awful Republican President look not quite so bad. I couldn't stand HW Bush, but then, unbelievably, W made him look not as bad. Then, also unbelievably, Trump made W, a truly bad President, look not quite as bad.
If anyone can make Trump look not quite as bad, it's Pence. If he, somehow, gets into the White House, we can expect things like mandated prayer, Christian themed public schools, and American women starting to be treated like Saudi women.
