I wondered that myself, but part of the problem is that the Pfizer vaccine needs to be stored at ultra-low temperatures, and many third world countries don’t have the infrastructure (freezers) and distribution networks needed to keep the vaccines viable before delivery into peoples’ arms.
Once the vaccine thaws, it has a much shorter half-life, so it’s a use it or lose scenario.
It seems like a waste to throw it away.
