The founding father's were mostly Deist, and wanted this new country not to be bound by the Church of England, and if I remember my readings of George Washington, to quit persecuting the Catholics. It's one thing to ask it's citizens to get a vaccination to stop a world wide pandemic that is killing millions and grinding the economy to a complete halt. it's another to tell any woman that she must bring a child into the world when she becomes pregnant.
