tech0200, that is the problem about the deal signed between the electronic communities (that make market these days) and the markets. They get the order just before the open market giving them a possibility to take it off the book and then fill it over time.
Hence also my remark about CDMO going down in pre-market. 80% of our complete down track was in pre-market with only a few shares, not during the trading sessions.
Then again, that works in BOTH directions and supports the elastic.
Three of the past CDMO opens where ABOVE close. Yet in that direction they call it a gap that must be closed if the difference wasn't traded during the day :)
Well we have some high gaps to close in the other direction :) May 4th, 19,54$ :)
