The Cert petition on July 22nd was not expected a while back and it will be interesting to see how the rationale for Cert is made. Not to say we dont have a long road ahead but in the mean time the GSEs are rebuilding capital. The issue is whether we are entitled to 20 pct before dilution or after a SPS cramdown.

I believe SCOTUS got sick and tired of their Constitutional duties and responsibilities being trampled on (1st and 2nd Amendments, Biden claiming Constitution not absolute) by the other 2 branches which led to their recent overturning of Roe v Wade for the good of humanity. SCOTUS beginning to wake up and push back by exercising their authority. There's still hope for us IMO.
