I believe if texas secedes from the US, they will demand or claim they are owners of all military in their borders and texasionalize all forts and military and order them all to stay.

It's their texas nation rights, right?

Personally, if texas did this, I wouldn't bother with any kind of war or process to keep them in the republic. But all inflowing resources would immediately stop until new much higher cost agreements are in place. All USA congress and other government programs and subsidies would cease to exist. Of course, Biden would be open to share resources with texacana, just like any other foreign country. I don't know for sure, but I don't think my tax dollars are going to any Canadian welfare programs and benefits so I wouldn't expect my tax dollars to support a foreign country like texas within reason.
