Thanks, besides even at 71, my two businesses still do not let me rest. I might only work 30 hours a week, but even at 71 I still have to stay busy. Besides those vacations are much more enjoyable when I just keep spending.

I might only travel around America, thanks to the economy coming back I can catch a flight almost anywhere, another benefit of living in a smaller city. The airport's security is easy to go through, and once you go through security you are done.

These trolls just whine and cry with every post, but this is what happens when a political party doesn't stand for anything. Excuse me they do like everyone owning an AR-15, and they really enjoy it when they travel 1000s of miles to create chaos and burn down places.

Those trump white nationalist must of made the proud boys, and the oath keepers proud. Maybe they can join them in jail, with the rest of the trump supporters who like to terrorize the nation.

Actually sweet tea is mine, I was just reminding myself of a lunch I use to enjoy with my father. It's June, he gets remembered during this month. A good roat beef sandwich, a pickle and some cole slaw, nothing like a good lunch before you go back to work the afternoon.

Morels are amazing. I might as well admit to one of the stupidest and naive nature mistakes I've ever done is with Morels.

Had two gigantic oaks on my and my neighbors property adjacent and they both came down within a year of each other in the second year of my 10 year past residence. Within a couple of years, he and I had a tremendous crop of Morels from around those stumps. One other surviving big tree was still the shade.

This is before I really knew how to id them and how valuable they really were. I had so much of what I didn't know I was mowing them before I stopped to look at them.
Neighbor told me what I had, I tripled checked with natural department and such and sure enough they were. Sadly, I didn't research enough and was just pulling them up. And like a moron, I even gave away about 3 pounds to a relative.

As you know, mushrooms we see are just the 'flower' and not the mother which can be acres around below you. The proper way is to cut them with a sharp knife above the ground. My neighbor screamed at me when he saw me out there. Not only did I kill my golden goose, I cut his crop down probably by 50% but some of his was still producing the following year. Mine were gone. We estimated the base was possibly as large as half of each of our yards. There were identical mushies in other areas to ours along some fences.
