GEH Ditto to all you said. I never owned stock in my life until AMR gave each of us shares in the company to offset the anamosity when the employee's found out about the company's deception. Then I found out about AMEP from a friend at work who is very knowlegeable about stocks. He also went out on his own to visit the drilling site and report everything he saw back to us. He even brought us some oil from the well and a large rock on which he put 7/6/06 AMEP #11 and he told my husband that this was a million dollar rock. I have both items side by side on the bookshelf. You all have taught me so much over the last year and a half and I thank you from the bottom of my heart since I knew absolutely nothing about stocks before this.

GOOD FORTUNE to all of us who have been strong and long!!!!

hawk, well spoken post again. This is indeed a good board to get helpful information (both positive and negative) about AMEP. I learn alot from the many knowledgeable posters. I pretty much gave up on RB because there is just too much clutter volume. I also appreciate the information on Drillbit's Yahoo groups board and on Rocky's site reference at the top of this board.

It is great to see the AMEP taking the next step with the proxy so that we can get the progress moving forward again. For those of us that have stuck with AMEP for a long time, the waiting can be trying at times, but CB's honesty and hard work pulls them through again. They have trouble being held to timelines, but they always pull through and get the job done.

I remember the ALMI days. Those were the days when I first became familiar with you and your DD. I was already in several stocks that you were also in and I enjoyed your posts (also BIPH & ABEW). I didn't do so well with them because I have a hard time knowing when to sell; I just haven't figured out the "buy low, sell high" thing!!! I didn't sell the BIPH or ABEW because I kept thinking they would turn around. ALMI I rode up to over $1.60, then down to about .80 and sold, and now it is back up over $1.80. Maybe my having trouble selling will finally work to my benefit with AMEP. I am believing that holding AMEP will reward me.

Thank you for sharing your experience and thorough DD. GLTYA longs; the coming months are going to be fun.

Mike
