The rules of investing say that we're supposed to maintain at least something in stocks for the growth aspect, even when retired. But this year I haven't been able to sit with any stocks for very long, and am mostly in cash and T-Bills, along with some shorter term Treasuries (1-2 year range). Can't make much money this way, but I figure that not losing is a victory, and then one can go shopping for bargains later.
