Those wins served as momentum as he represented Chile in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. He tied for fourth in the men's competition.

Right after that, he opened his first full-time PGA Tour season with a third-place finish at the Fortinet Championship in California. He has been good enough this season to earn a No. 46 FedEx Cup ranking entering the PGA and make $1.37 million.
