One of the best Groucho lines came up during an episode of his tv show, "You Bet Your Life." A contestant, a man, when asked about his family, replied that he had 8 or 9 kids, I can't exactly remember.

Marketing and Advertising ruined the world of people and likely the planet?

That seems a unique perspective, especially considering slavery, war, climate change, drug addiction, violent crime, Trumpism, what have you.

You can always ignore marketing and advertising, not so much the other stuff.
