I don’t have a fully convincing answer, but some investors maybe hesitant to own the stock when the phase-1 data for EDP-235 (COVID protease inhibitor) are due any day.

ENTA has always been a volatile stock because the trading volume is so low. (There are only 24.7M fully-diluted shares.)
