Thanks MAX like the way you put it, but technology is changing by the minute. If they don't get to it soon someone is going past by them maybe or maybe not can't wait 10 years.

in reading the job description, it sounds more like they want to train some people to become a kind of hotshot trouble shooters...people who can respond immediately and jump on a plane and go where there has been some kind of failure and get it back up and running...

they want them to become familiar with different types of equipment from the beginning stages to the commissioning process...they probably also want them to be the last line of experts to confirm the facility and equipment are indeed ready to be commissioned...

i guess they dont want to have another situation where they have all the hoopla going on and then flip the switch and the equipment just groans, farts and shuts down...

i wonder if this is an attempt to achieve another tech milestone that Exxon requested?...

but at any rate, they apparently need people who can respond quickly to fix broken equipment...

on the surface, it sounds like kinda of a good thing...but then, when you think about it, they are doing this because, apparently, theres a NEED...but is THAT a good thing??...
