I'm not certain you can apply my text as you've placed it, and consider it "granted" by what followed.I can't possibly respond here today to this post, except to say that what I meant about "most of the people who have actually read the Bible" is to say that most of the people haven't read the Bible, and therefore haven't a clue of what they speak. They've merely picked up on what religious people espouse (pastors, whoever) and run with whatever fancy they'd care to. The Bible is the best resource in the world to find justification for nearly any abominable act a human can perform, from incest to mass murder, the Bible gives anyone what they need to explain away their evil deeds.
I guess that's a start, lol =)
