"because we already know they delivered enough for “several thousand yards”."

well, heres the deal with that...originally, prodigy was supposed to deliver fabric...but they couldnt find any weavers...so spydasilk told them to just deliver the yarn and they will find weavers in the Singapore area...im guessing they do a lot of business with weavers, being in the fashion industry and all...

thus thats all that prodigy sent them...yarn....which i believe was blended with some other fiber(s) and turned into fabric material...

so how much yarn did we send?...no clue...depends on the percentage of blend used...but 10% of thousands of yards turns into hundreds of yards...although 50% could still be a thousand yards...

thus, imo, no matter what, prodigy sent them a fairly significant amount...certainly a whole hell of a lot more than a couple of kilos...lol

and im fine with that...im certain the 6th gen will be in the upper hundreds of kilos...at the least...

and if not, then the 7 th gen will be...its only a matter of time...nothing else...just time...

imo

Money4Nothing: “We know they started with “several hundred” kilos because we already know they delivered enough for “several thousand yards”.”

They delivered a blend of cotton and silk. We don’t know the proportions. Even if they delivered enough for several thousand yards, the amount of silk involved might have been much smaller.

This is reinforced by the struggles they had producing silk before the new quality control processes were instituted. The fact they were only able to realize a 10-fold increase in production and still need to set aside such a large proportion to increase egg availability means the pre-Gen 5 production was not measured in hundreds of kilos.
