Hi RMB. SWAV had a small net profit in Q4 2021.
The CMS changed the codes and increased what they will pay for some procedures starting Q1 2022

Some out patient procedures were delayed in Jan due to Omicron ...so that may affect Q1 results

IVL is approved in Japan but they have not decided yet on how much their health providers will pay for the procedures

By the way ...in Japan they don't like stents . They want the IVL to crack arterial calcium , use a balloon to expand the vessel to increase blood flow ....and thats it .

In the elderly ...( over 80 ) IVL is being used more often now instead of CABG because of the recovery time ( and problems in recovery ) in this population .

SWAV earnings on May 9th I believe
