Got a quick response from Tristan.

"The 2021/2022 taxes are not in default yet, they just haven't been paid yet."

As to the 2020/2021 taxes that are delinquent, this is what he said:

Me: So, has the payment for 2020/2021 been sent to the correct office?
2021 taxes still show on county website as delinquent.

Tristan: It is indeed 100% being taken care of. Just a mix up.

The SLO county website should update within a few weeks IF it is "indeed being taken care of".
