SPEX has been a non-performer for quite a long time. I have been in this stock since 1999. In that time the management has managed to mess up a great set of products, including Flycracker (a non-toxic fly larvae killer great for stock yards, chicken farms, etc.), Gaio-Tagatose which got caught up in Arla of Denmark's machinations and now they are trying to make Naturelose a winner. Arla has stopped making Tag and has fired or reassigned all the personnnel connected with it. I guess all the users of Tag like Miada of New Zealand must be using from Arla's inventory.
I have little faith that SPEX will make it this time on the medical side. Tagatose should have been a slam dunk on the food side but the Doc is so controlling that hardly anybody can blow their nose without first asking permission. I am hanging around hoping for another spike into $8 so I can sell and get out with my skin. I've already lost my shorts.
As far as BeagleBoyBlue is concerned, he has been hyping this stock for at least a decade. Almost nothing of what he has said would happen ever happened. And when something did happen, the timing was often months if not years off. If you want to check this out, read Beagle's posts on the Yahoo! SPEX board. Just be careful to sort out his posts from a fake Beagle where the Blue is actually written B1ue (the numeral "one" has been substituted for an 'el'(l).)
I probably won't post much here because there is very little to say. We are waiting for word, due in March, on the medical enrollment and tests using Naturelose to treat diabetes. Those tests take months, many times years. Meanwhile, this is essentially dead money.
