Just seems to me that that they are relying on partners in the energy vertical rather than doing a lot of in-house effort at this point.
As far as the metaverse goes, With Veritone M&E and advertising experience, one of the best job recruiter platforms, and with a supposedly mature scalable AI platform, hard to believe they would not be an acquisition target right now. Looks like a turn key opportunity for probably a wide variety of larger companies that want to make an investment into AI and the metaverse.
