very good article but I disagree with the last point. I would fight with every bone in my body for our rights. We aren't some kind of weak individuals, we're willing to leave it all on the field if those pricks want to come for us.

That's what they don't understand. Just like the Ukrainians, we're not going down without a fight and I don't give a fuck who you vote for. We will not let the assholes take us down.

Once they figure out who has been really stealing their human rights they will wake up. Not saying all republicans are stupid, but just saying that most stupid people are Republicans.

How the fuck someone could vote for these assholes never ceases to amaze me. Did they ever read a fucking newspaper? Log on to the internet? Believe their own fucking eyes?

No, they worship some invisible entity that lives in a sky tower who tells them what to believe because they send money to him. The videos I've seen with these Q fucks I won't even post here because they are such a stain on our humanity that I wouldn't give them the time of day. It's sickening and these assclowns eat it for breakfast.

I just want to let them all know that even though I hug trees, I'm not afraid to use my second right either and I'm a shit ton smarter than you so you better look the fuck out before you come to play army man with me. I got enough problems so don't make yourself another one of them.

<nothing on you Drifter I just needed a rant Happy Easter>

"Donald Trump remains the de facto leader of the Republican Party. He won almost 75 million votes in 2020 — significantly more than in 2016 — because Republican voters enthusiastically agree with him and what he represents. His values are their values. Trumpism and neofascism more generally are both a symptom and a cause of an American political culture and society that is deeply sick with multiple ailments: racism and misogyny, cruelty and greed, anti-LGBTQ bigotry, religious fundamentalism, anti-intellectualism, an obsession with violence and other antisocial and anti-human values."

On the vile problem of white supremacy we should feel good. Be proud to be able to say we always could do more, still we do do our bit. "white supremacy" 2017. 2021

"Trump's Republican Party and the larger neofascist movement are unified around one goal, which is creating a 21st-century version of American apartheid. This revolutionary campaign involves reversing the gains of the civil rights movement and Black Freedom Struggle and also undoing the victories of the women's rights, LGBTQ rights, labor and environmental movements, along with all other attempts to build a social democracy in which equal freedoms and rights are enjoyed by all Americans.

The Democratic Party has shown itself to be largely ineffective, powerless and incompetent in their response to the neofascist attacks on democracy. This is part of a much larger pattern: For more than 50 years the Republican Party and the "conservative" movement have won and kept power by leveraging the politics of white racial resentment and grievance-mongering, even though their policies are extremely unpopular with most of the public. In many ways, Trumpism, neofascism and straightforward white identity politics are the next step in that political strategy.

I don't believe that Trump is still the leader of the Republican party, his rallies are only taking place in safe secure mostly ex-Confederate states and not drawing huge crowds. He's the leader of the party in those states but has no national coat tails.

Just as Palin's campaign for Congress has resulted in a collective yawn, and she will lose badly in the primary, so lies the direction of Trump's political future. The problem is that even left leaning sites continue to feature an overwhelming focus on all things Trump because those stories provide the clicks that drive ad revenue. And that leaves the unfortunate impression that he's still relevant.

Politically, Trump is toast. And when the 1/6 Committee starts televised hearings this fall, the Republicans will see their entire house of cards collapse.
