This is what has been suggested here for some time, WMI IS STILL ALIVE. AYA said ""You could hear a pin drop in the court room when I suggested WMI was still alive"" Paraphrased.
It has ALSO been suggested that WMI WILL be a private entity.
The reasoning for this imho is, IF IF IF large money WAS EVER SHOWN in a publicly traded corp, it would BLOW THE WHOLE WAMU WAS INSOLVENT mantra.
As a privately held corp those monies will never be exposed nor disclosed to the public.
Now to be private they will have to drastically REDUCE the numbers of OLD SHARE (ESCROW) HOLDERS, and why I have suggested ""A TENDER OFFER"" may very well come into play here as far as Class 22 holders being bought out, and IF IF IF one meets any possible threshold criteria those few would move forward with the PRIVATE SIDE.
Understand it SHOULD be BOBVIOUS that the holder of the preferds ARE ARE ARE the big players in this deal and they certainly WILL NOT NOT kick themselves to the curb..............
Gonna be real interesting to see hwo this all plays out, WHENNNNNNNNNNNNN IT PLAYS OUT
