The problem I have with our 60 Minutes is that it's become another venue of celebrity journalism. Do we really need to see close ups of Leslie Stahl's face as she displays appropriate emotions during interviews?
Not actually sure if she's still on it, haven't watched in years, but you get the idea.
In a 24/7 news cycle existence, a weekly newsmagazine is relatively unnecessary, as is the national network evening news, too.
