Do you think it was a mistake for Biden to not send lethal aid to Ukraine last Fall?

All these "team" arguments are ridiculous.

Trump was wrong in Helsinki to appear to cozy up to Putin--although one could argue he was trying to build a relationship to influence him in the future. And it failed.

But it was Trump who took out the Russian mercenaries in Syria. Sent lethal aid to Ukraine. Lobbied Europe to NOT approve the Nordstream pipeline to avoid giving Putin (his supposed buddy according to the Left) leverage of the EU.

But Trump says some inane things about Putin--"Smart" "clever" etc.

Why stroke a dictator?

In the meantime, Biden certainly does not come off as a strong leader. His response to Putin's buildup at Ukraine's border was NOT sending more military aid BEFORE the invasion. It was just warning Ukraine that Putin WOULD invade.

Biden was reduced to being a messenger of intelligence info.

There is blame to go all around. But the bottom line is that the world has a choice---

WOW!! What a contrast in views.
Trump stood up, manned up and spoke up and acted, whether it was popular or provoking, in the best interests of America and the world. He may not have been liked, but being a world leader is not a popularity contest. Personally, his braggadocio made me cringe at times, but there is no doubt, he stood up, when most others stood watching.
It is just sad to watch the current president stand back and quake with fear at the thought of "Provoking" Putin. Look what "Not Provoking Putin" has brought on Ukraine? And Biden is working toward building himself and America with another crisis in Iran. Helping them reload their coffers to reign terrorism around the globe and all but ignoring rockets raining down in Ebril. Appeasers never seem to learn. And blind followers never fail to support and rationalize.

Independent and Pragmatic

Your confusing Trump with your man-crush, OBAMA. You know, Red Line in the Sand and Blankets to Ukraine Obama? "Reset with Russia" Obama?

If I remember correctly, it was Trump that first sent defensive weapons to Ukraine. It was Trump that destroyed the Caliphate. It was Trump that sent rockets into Syria (while sharing a dinner desert with Xi, no less, for him to witness our resolve).
It was Trump that "in your face" to Iran, killed their fomenter of terror, for all the despots, including Iran to see.
And it was Trump that made NATO stronger, while pointing out how their dependence on Russian oil & gas would bite them in the ass (guess who is still buying Russian oil & gas, as we sanction it?)
Nah, Putin would not have fucked with Trump, like he is with Biden. All the time that Trump was publicly making nice with Putin, Putin knew he could not cow Trump. He was watching all those things, just like Iran, China, North Korea and the rest of the world.

Butthurt/Unhinged Zealot Democrat

I look at Trump's craven relationship with Putin over 4 years, the humiliation in Helsinki …...this time 'I don't know why they would invade, he was very strong, very powerful in his denials to me'.....,the attempt to quid pro quo Zelensky with weapons for dirt on Biden, his shit relationship with NATO and I conclude he that he wouldn't suddenly begin standing up to Putin in this situation.
