DeSantis barely won his election for Governor and has yet to be re-elected:

With a country about evenly divided between D's and R's, it's the candidates who can attract the I's who will win elections. And that's not Trump and it's not DeSantis. I'd be very surprised if DeSantis could actually win re-election, depending, of course, on who is opponent will be. Taking on Disney is not a genius move.

Also in Florida, I'm excited about Val Demings challenge to Little Marco, she has a lot of potential upside in government. Look at France and the decreasing popularity of the LePens and from that we can maybe find hope that the extreme right wing in western style democracies is on the wane.
