I'm no fan of Mayor Adams, either, but he's only been in office for less than 2 months, so it's a bit premature judge his term as a total failure.
Before the election he won, over the past few years I heard him speak at two private events. I was impressed, then, and had high hopes for him, but NYC rarely has a good mayor. Giuliani sucked, Bloomberg's first term was good, but the second two sucked and DeBlasio wasn't even as good as sucking. Hope springs eternal.
