I don't buy that Manchin is the only honest man RE BBB. Your argument and his are weakened by his Romney like remark about makers and takers.
If he's that badly misinformed about his own constituents, then he's not an honest broker for them.

sounds to me like going back on his counter offer wasted a lot of people's time and his credibility. calling everyone else a liar except him is kind of disingenuous.
Munchkin lied numerous times since Biden got in. He also flipped like he intended on welfare and assistant programs, but his coal got a huge tax break. He screwed assistance programs for years and only agreed when he could add a tax break or deals for coal to the bills. His record speaks for itself.
I'm not going to debate munchkin with you because we're polar opposites with him and I'd rather stay civil. But I think you should try and rethink munchkins poor actions and support of fossil fuels and coal. His comments about poor people are all documented and repeated even on this thread.
