I'd say they were/are a factor in protecting the house. One person said there were four. Apparently they were quite for awhile but think two days ago when i walked by they barked like old times. Pretty sure i've only heard two. And yesterday morning when the police first arrived re the home invasion a dog nipped one of them. Another police lady said they thought it was the same dog, so i'd say it sealed it's fate. Apparently, ordinarily, it's up to the courts as to what happens with any dog aggressor. The police lady who came back on the 26th when i was at the neighbors place was there yesterday, she recognized me and came over to say hi. She confirmed the dog nipping the policeman.
One guy said people had been moving stuff out Saturday Feb. 12th, the day before the Sunday 13th 3am home invasion. Since the drug den guys are due to move out after the owner finally being able to evict them i'd say there is likely a connection between that and the invasion. He told me days ago he had given them two weeks so am guessing this week is their last.
The council lady is calling me after my hospital visit re the dressings at 10am tomorrow, Tuesday. It' 9:15 here now so i'll be leaving about now tomorrow for there.
LOL It's all been a smear on a normally sedate neighborhood.
