On Friday 2239647 of 2921229 shares traded were deemed short by FINRA. It doesn’t necessarily mean someone was spending $$ to short GOFF. It could be a market maker’s transaction to fulfill a demand for shares.
Nevertheless when 77% of all shares traded are short it has historically meant a pullback is around the corner.
There’s always paper hands and beer money willing to part with life changing shares. Market makers count on it.
