'It's coming': 2 strategies moving Missouri towards marijuana legalization
"It's coming. Whether we file legislation or not, it's coming," said Rep. Ron Hicks, a Republican representing parts of St. Charles County.
Hicks compiled several measures into his Cannabis Freedom Act omnibill to legalize adult-use with support from both sides of the aisle. He said he's still fielding complaints about the medical rollout.
"If it comes through the legislature, it can be fixed immediately. You don't have to go gathering signatures or anything like that. I would like to see this as a law and not an initiative petition," he explained.
Have a good feeling Missouri will fully legalize cannabis in 2022. Either through legislation or citizen initiative. Perfect timing with the US Congress starting to seriously consider legalization to get cannabis supporter votes in the upcoming elections. If they legalize nationally Heritage would be ready to sell in all states from their Missouri facilty once approved. Until then Heritage will be one of few concentrate producers selling products in a limited license state. Either way it's a good opportunity for Heritage to substantially increase revenues. imho
Agree Searay... We will get to see Q4 Holiday revenues end of month, and Q1 one month later. Thinking they could be real eye openers for cannabis investors. The better cannabis companies are starting to pull away from the pack revenue wise. I'll be updating with comparisons as we get into earnings season. GL SR
